I am working on some concepts for my EVOLUTION canvas. here is a prelim going to work on several more as well this is going to start on the left side in fill in to the E, at the beginning of EVOLUTION.

Now I have a really exciting piece that I am going to be starting soon. I have some preliminary sketches and drawing done up. But will fully work on these thumbnails before I even touch the canvas. The final project is 24"x59". This whole piece is going to to be focusing on the" EVOLUTION" of every thing. need i say more...there will be more pics of the evolution of the piece...damn I love that word.

So here are is my final project from school. Total 6 pieces including the piece i posted last. I am trying to figure out where I want to take this whole thing. The possibilities are endless!!

The end of the 1st quarter.

I have not posted in a while, and i thing I should get back on it. I have done many things and just forgot about posting. Any way end of the 1st quarter on winter break right now. And i have done some cool stuff for the end project. Here is the main piece that I worked on. Micrologicalbiotechnicalanimal. This piece is about the microcosms and that are in all of us and the macrocosms that we apart of us, and how we are involved within a universe that is within us and out of us. It is all about how we choose to bring it to the surface. We all have a connection to the divine because we are the divine. We are all apart of some thing bigger! There will be more posts soon!...

what an amazing man!

About 2 years ago I was in Northern California at a friends house and he has this poster called Ayahuasca Dream By Robert Venosa and the painting blew my mind. The amount of detail, and the execution of idea, composition every thing about it is perfect, the imagination is so unique. That describes his style. He was an amazing man the sad part is that this amazing artist died April of this year 2011. The world lost some one who truly gave this world a glimpse to the other side. I would have loved to have taken a workshop from Robert or even apprentice under his of just sit at watch this guy paint. So last week end I came across his book on ebay and yes you know it i picked up a signed copy. Look this man up 'ROBERT VENOSA'.

So get this! Not to long ago I found out about this illustrator/artist, the late John Berkey (1932-2008) he does crazy science fiction paintings of space.  So I want to get his book but, it has gone from $29.99 to nearly $299!! WTF. I am just some broke art student trying to read about this amazing artist. SO LOW AND BEHOLD!! the public library has a copy and what DO YOU KNOW!!!

Here are some pre-sketches for a painting i am making for my final project. A take on the giant puff ball mushroom that was found a while back at an old house of mine. These one have tentacles  and have a very fluid  movement like tentacles in the ocean but these guys are found on land. I am thinking about painting them blue.

this was for the first week i started school we get words of the week and we ahve to create something around that word or about it....you know . the word was PORTAL. and i started thinking portal of the mind to the sould sead of the soul opeing doors leading to more portals. and so arnt 4 squares of lysergic acid diethylamide.

I am woking on my final projects that are due in December. I have floped around many ideas I am shure i know what I want to do. I am going to make up my own fungus and odd gowths that I think where there at the begining. When the earth was very young 500 million years ago. What would those strange growths look like as they pushed their way out of that primordial muck that sparked life.
